Comments: This patient was self-conscious about her hands. By filling in a cushion of fat, her veins are less conspicuous. It is becoming more common for women to have the hands treated simultaneously with facial fat injection.

Comments: This patient looked very youthful in her face but thought her hands gave away her age. She elected to have her hands treated simultaneously with facial laser resurfacing and fat injection of the lips. She returned to work as a hair stylist one week after this procedure. One year later, the injected fat has not absorbed. The effect is still evident 3 ½ years later. She has not had any subsequent fat injections or laser treatment.
